Making your own Sticker titles in PSE4
by Melissa Stebbins
I use this technique heaps on my layouts because it gives you a fun coordinated title in a couple of clicks.
1. Open the paper that you want to make your title out of. I’m using paper from Debbie McKenzie’s Strawberry Fields. Select the typemask tool. Your paper will turn red. Then select the font you want to use and size. I used 50pt which gives a nice big title. Type your text then press the tick and the marching ants will appear around your text.
2. Edit ->Copy
3. Open your layout then do Edit ->Paste. This will paste your cut out title on your layout.
4. Select the layer that your title is on then Edit ->Stroke. The dialogue box will come up. Select width 5px, Color: Black and Location: outside. Click OK and you will get a thin black outline around your title.
Do Edit ->Stroke again and this time select Width: 20, Color: White, Location: Outside. This gives you a white border and makes it look like a sticker!
