May Colour Challenge
Your colour challenge for May is to use a photograph (landscapes and small children work best) as part of your background layer.
I was so impressed with your blending efforts last month, I've decided to take the blending one step further this month. I am loving the look of a blended photo (the same as the subject matter of the LO) forming part of the background paper. You can use a colour version of the photo, or change to sepia or black & white, lower the opacity of the photo or adjust the levels. If the back ground is too busy, use a soft brush with a lowered opacity to erase part of the background...there are endless possibilities. As an example here's just one done by the lovely Flora (check out the gallery, there are lots more) ![]() Posting Prize: ![]() Last edited by Debbie; 05-05-2009 at 12:07 AM. |

What a great Challenge ! I was looking at all of the LOs with this style of blending, and was going to have another go at doing one. I have done a couple before - some more successful than others

I've come to the conclusion that I'm allergic to Warwick water.. every time I have a bath or shower, or get the girls' bath ready.. or help in the kitchen (and need to put water in something), my eyes itch and itch and itch and I have a huuuuge sneezing session. |

There is a LOT of chlorine in the local water. I can smell it very strong some days. Short luke warm showers - so it doesn't absorb too much through the skin. I thought it was tank water at Dad's ??

I can smell it too.. everyday.. and then you have the day when they top up the chlorine..I can be a good 3m away from the sink and smell it when teh tap comes on. I dont know which water comes out of the shower, but my skin doesn't like it. I could rip my eyes and hair out for one.
