Attention Designers - All Kits

Taking a leaf out of Vickie's book...

Could you please include some PLAIN papers with your patterened ones. Preferably only lightly textured if at all. I would really appreciate it : )

Many thanks!

Taken on board Jo

Do you prefer to have lots of patterned papers and only a few plain ones or do you like an even mix of both? Or more plain than patterned?

I agree, a mix of both and plain unadorned tags.

I can use both. I just depends what look I am working with. I have had a look back at my gallery and found that I can use plain, patterned both lightly and heavily. I know the other designer I CT for is producing embossed plain paper kits which I understand have been very popular.

I usually include a plain in the Prize kits as I also like to have a plain paper for using for matting and journalling.

P.S..... just remembered a new free kit I put together should be in the store soon... it has lots of plain papers.

I also like about half of each, too. I'm learning to use bigger photos to cover the page, if the print is too big LOL

I tend to like and design a mixture but most of mine are reasonably plain but when you say plain Jo do you mean exactly that plain plain as in just filled with colour, no pattern, texture or overlay??

I like texture etc, but so long as it plain "looking", like Bazzil, in paper scrapping, and even lightly grunged.

I mean pretty much totally plain with maybe a hint of texture Lesly. Texture is good but not too much texture that it almost becomes another patterened paper. Some kits have only patterned paper and you need to have some plain. Especially when you'd like your journaling to be read!

if there's no plain to match I just tend to take the eyedropper and take a colour from the patterend ones to make my own.

Yes, I can see where you are coming from Jo...

I'm surprised that plain papers aren't like the foundation of all paper kits.. and the patterned papers are co-ordinated with that colour scheme, then the elements compliment the papers and the theme of the kit....

Just my thoughts...
